About Maria Kitchens

Maria Kitchens is a Real Estate Professional who has lived in Chapin, SC, for the past nine years with her husband and four children. A Columbia native, she graduated from USC’s School of Business Administration with a major in Accounting and worked in banking for nearly 11 years. She has held positions as an accountant, internal auditor, and financial analyst while navigating through four bank mergers. Full-time motherhood became her calling after the arrival of her second child and her husband’s increased work commitments and career flying for the military (SCARNG). Maria became a classroom teacher’s assistant, active PTO member, homeroom mother, team parent, and Girl Scout troop leader at h er children’s schools. As a military spouse, she was a ‘single-parent’ for over a year when her husband deployed to Iraq. After several wonderful years as a full-time mom, she now enjoys her passion working in real estate with Exit Midlands Realty.

As a life-long resident, Maria knows the Columbia and Chapin real estate markets very well. Her knowledge, along with her demonstrated competence and proficiency, has prepared Maria to be a dynamic Real Estate Professional.
